THE CARON MEANS
FOUNDATION

ROOTED IN PARK HEIGHTS. BUILT FOR BALTIMORE.
Stronger Communities Longer Lasting Change
The Caron Means Foundation was created in memory of Caron Means. Rooted in Park Heights, we help young people build confidence, plan for their futures, and connect with opportunities across Baltimore City and County.
Our Mission
Turn personal loss into practical support for young people and families, helping them build confidence, plan for their futures, and connect with people and opportunities that move them forward.
Our Vision
A connected pathway that pairs education, mentoring, sports, and family support to move young people and families forward together.
Who We Serve
Young people and families across Baltimore City and County, rooted in Park Heights, facing life's toughest challenges.
Our Focus
Education and career pathways, youth sports and development, family and community support, and life skills and leadership.
OUR PROGRAMS
Pathways to Change. Tools for Life
We provide a range of programs and services designed to empower young people and strengthen families across our community.

Bridge
Program
Connects students with mentors, professional exposure, college visits, training opportunities, and support from elementary school through college and career planning.

Youth Sports & Development
With community partners, we work to expand access to sports development, recruiting guidance, scouting exposure, and opportunities for student athletes.

Family & Community Support
We organize back-to-school events, school supply distributions, holiday meals, and connections to local resources that respond to immediate needs.

Life Skills & Leadership
We encourage young people to practice emotional control, financial planning, saving, healthy decision-making, and accountability while finding their own voice.

OUR IMPACT
Changing Lives. Building Futures.
At a recent Park Heights back-to-school event, CMF helped distribute 350 bookbags. We build on events like this through partnerships with schools, local organizations, volunteers, and neighborhood leaders
